Online spending is expected to increase to a record £40 billion this year, with around £36 million spent via EROL stores alone*.
Reasons for this increase have been attributed to queues on busy high street shops and the savings that can be made when buying online - with products being on average 13 per cent cheaper online.
In this last week alone there has been a 16 per cent increase in sales via EROL stores* as the run in to Christmas really starts to gather pace.
*Based on orders placed on EROL stores during a 4 week period between Oct and Nov 2007.
