Domino’s Pizza has reported that e-commerce sales grew by 43.8% in 2006 and reached £20.1 million in the UK - compared to £13.9 million in 2005.
The company says that its e-commerce platform continues to be its fastest-growing channel to market and attracted record numbers of new customers - as well as delivering an average ticket value that is typically 25% higher than orders placed by phone.
Does Domino’s win the e-commerce award for shortest time from checkout to delivery - or does it not count since payment is cash on delivery?
